If you’re unfamiliar with audio post, stepping from FCP to Soundtrack Pro can seem daunting, especially as there’s a whole new vocabulary of terms to learn. Fortunately Steve Martin of Ripple Training has posted a great tutorial, “Get on the Bus”, which begins to tackle this issue and effectively demonstrates one way to streamline a multitrack mix. In my experience the topic of buses and sends can be difficult to grasp for novice users so it’s great that Steve now has a quick and straightforward example to draw on.
