One of the likely reasons we’ve not heard too much from Martin Baker in the last little while is that he’s been hard at work in in the ethereal labs of Digital Heaven.

The first sign of this industrious effort is an update to the essential VideoSpace widget, a tool I use all the time. New in Version 2.0 is support for ProRes 422 and DVCPRO HD 720p50, as well as, automatic selection of frame rate for NTSC and PAL video.

And because Martin’s such an upstanding and generous fellow, VideoSpace continues to be free, so you really have to think hard to find a reason not to download it!
