One issue you may encounter is that Flash-generated content is no longer supported within the FCS apps once you’ve installed QuickTime 7.1.3. To regain that functionality you must enable Flash in System Preferences as described in the following document, Final Cut Studio doesn’t display or import Flash content after upgrading to QuickTime 7.1.3
