You're It

After an extended period of deliberation and not inconsiderable procrastination on my part*, I’ve begun to add “tags” to posts on VFCPUG Online, to complement the existing category structure and provide you another means to search the site.

Each “tagged” post lists the keywords I’ve associated with it, if you click on them, you’ll search for other posts that share the keyword. You can also view the preliminary version of the VFCPUG Online “tag cloud” (v1.0), which lists all the keywords together and weights them according to how often they’ve featured in my various blatherings!

*Truth be told, I’ve been spurred on by the latest updates to Movable Type and the Tag feature that’s been included in the latest release.

Well worth the effort I have to say. Haven’t quite had the need yet persay, but I like the potential search power they add. Certainly keeps you ahead of the pack too. There are far too many sites that overlook a good search workflow and tool set.

You’ve probably discovered that I haven’t added tags to all the posts yet… I’m working on it, but apparently I’ve been a busy blogger the last few months!
