Sullied
So, I did it.
Though it took a little longer than I anticipated, I finally installed Windows XP on my MacBook Pro. The delay was caused by the need to integrate Service Pack 2 on the installation disc, but once that was done the process was fairly straightforward, if a little haphazard and unappetising at times.
It’s been a while since I’ve spent any time in Windows and I don’t feel at all compelled to change that. In fact given that I’ve not looked at it for so long, I was a little surprised at how little things seem to have changed in Windows. I know I’m biased, but really, in every respect Mac OS X seems far more elegant. But Boot Camp works and that will make some of my colleagues with happy.
I need to wash.
