We’d like to invite you to join us and fellow FCP users on 30 January at Emily Carr Institute for the first VFCPUG meeting of 2006.

Here’s our preliminary agenda for the evening:

DVCPRO HD workflow
Kris Kostiuk from VidCom will be discussing the new Panasonic AG-HVX200 and DVCPRO HD with FCP.
Compositing Kong
Chad Meire will discuss his recent experiences working as a Shake compositor. He’s just returned to Vancouver after a year having worked for the BBC on Doctor Who and in New Zealand for Weta Digital on King Kong.
VFCPUG Q&A
50/50 Draw

The meeting is currently scheduled to take place in RM260B/C in the North Building of the Emily Carr campus on Granville Island.

Doors open at 6:45 for a 7:00 start.
