Reddened
Mike from HD4NDs has the inside scoop (literally) from the RED booth at IBC. There are updates galore, with news about the first screening of footage from their Mysterium sensor, new features, workflow options, and revisions to the RED web site.

- Amsterdam IBC 2006 Red News - New Red hardware
There’s a fair amount to digest and, of course, at this point it’s all preliminary information. The folks at RED seem keen to point out that they’re currently meeting (if not exceeding) all of their published milestones. If you’re eagerly anticipating the shipping product that probably offers some comfort!
Of this latest batch of announcements, I’m particularly interested in their proposed workflow and the REDCINE software. Recording 4K images would certainly be impressive, but we’ll need solutions to work with the pictures once they’ve been acquired.
