3X

Earlier this week AJA announced the immediate availability of the KONA 3X, a PCI-X version of their popular KONA 3 card. If you’re familiar with the KONA 3 then you already know what the new card is capable of—SDI, HD-SDI, Dual Link HD-SDI 4:4:4, and 4:4:4:4, 2K. AJA stress that the only difference between KONA 3X and it’s PCI Express counterpart is in the bus interface. If you have a Power Mac G5 with PCI-X or a new Xserve with a PCI-X riser, then this could be the card for your consideration.
