Update

If you’re one of the fortunate few to have your copy of FCS 2 in hand, you may want to check the new, “Final Cut Studio 2: Don’t keep older versions of applications when upgrading” KB document. Essentially the article states that you shouldn’t attempt to use previous versions of the applications once you’ve installed FCS 2 as certain support resources are also upgraded and will no longer be compatible with your old software.
