Pro Apps Update 2007-02

Before you install the individual Final Cut Studio updates, you need to apply the new Pro Applications Update 2007-02. Details about the update are currently unavailable, suffice to say state that Pro Apps Update 2007-002 includes “fixes to the underlying frameworks and shared components” for FCS 2 including, improved HDV, IMX, and Apple ProRes 422 Codec support. It also features updates to ProAppsEffects, PluginManager, FxPlug, ProFX and FxPlugWrapper, which appear to mean that FCP and Motion will play nicely together once more. Also modified is Helium.framework, which specifically “fixes performance issues” on 8-core systems.
