Working Together

Apple’s latest Pro success story, “From Facility to Funhouse” involves JWTwo in New York. The article looks at how they’ve used Xsan to increase creativity and collaboration within the agency. Members of the team describe how Apple’s solution has enabled them to re-imagine the organisation. They explain that with Xsan there’s more time to further embrace specific tools—they work with FCP, Logic, and AFX in house—as well as explore different ideas. As a result JWTwo believe their workflow is more both more flexible and cost effective.

This is very interesting to me. At school I’ve seen the scope of people’s projects expand with the introduction of the Xsan-based network, but I feel we’ve barely scratched the surface when it comes to collaboration. As my trip home enters its last few days, I’m looking forward to getting back and moving forward with my plans.
