Switchers
Avid2FCP is a new collaborative web project that’s just launched. It’s intended to help encourage and support those folks making the transition from one platform to another.
The team behind the site features an impressive roster of folks who will most likely be familiar to you from other sites, including Digital Heaven’s irresistibly droll Martin Baker and Shane Ross from Little Frog in High Def. Also onboard is the sharp and talented Victoria Parks-Murphy who shares how she discovered FCP in one of the first “Switcher Stories”.*
If you’re an editor tempted by the lure of FCP, or a first time switcher, mired in crossover confusion, I think you’ll find yourself in safe hands with the Avid2FCP crew.
