Secondly

Martin Baker just posted the conclusion of his recent interview with Walter Murch on the Avid2FCP site. In particular I found the section about asset management and working collaboratively to be the most provocative. If we look at the FCP Timeline, the potential for those clips to be connected with other applications exists today - right-click and send to Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Shake, or another pre-defined “editor” application. We’ll have to wait and see whether Final Cut Server introduces some of the functionality they envision for collaborative workflow.
