Exposed

While FTX WEST was a little more intimate than most of us expected, it did provide those inquisitive folk that ventured out to the show an opportunity to speak with the exhibitors one-on-one.

The Apple booth was fairly lively and enjoyed a regular flow of visitors keen to get information about the Pro Apps. In addition to individual stations for each of the applications, there were pods for P2, XDCAM HD, and Uncompressed HD (manned by VFCPUG’s own John Christie) workflow, as well as Apple Pro Training. It was hard to tell as I was on the otherside of the booth, but it seemed that Shake, Uncompressed HD, and Aperture were the biggest draws!

I had a fun time chatting with various folk about all manner of things FCS and providing information about upcoming Apple Certification courses at Emily Carr Institute. There were a number of VFCPUG regulars amongst them and I appreciated all the kind words you had to say about the web site.
