VIDFEST 2006
Courtesy of VIDFEST

Vancouver’s VIDFEST has issued their annual call for entries. They’re looking for video and interactive work to exhibit during this year’s festival, which takes place 14-16 June. They accept an eclectic range of work in their screening section—anything from narrative shorts, through game sequences, to experimental video—but “favor the innovative and creative use of digital technology”.

If online projects are more your forte, all is not lost as VIDFEST is also looking for entries into the Interactive Design Room in four categories: Business, Entertainment, Education, and Experimental/Art. The astute amongst you will recognise at least one name on the list of the Judging Panel for this year’s event!
