Now in 3D
There can be no denying that Motion 3 has turned some heads. With the new 3D features, Optical Flow, vector paint tools and template integration with FCP, the application has come of age.
For those of you who want to leverage the power of the complete FCS suite, or would like to gain some hands-on experience with the software, you may like to know I’m teaching the first Apple Certified Motion 3 course at Emily Carr Institute starting on Thursday (18 October).
Over 3 day’s we’ll cover Motion’s Real-Time Design engine and interface, behaviour-based animation, parameter behaviours, blend modes, advanced particle system design, advanced title animation, working with templates, chroma key techniques, masking methods, DVD motion menu design, tablet-driven gesture UI techniques, working with audio, keyframing, and integration.
The course costs CDN$1075 + GST, which includes the newly published APTS Motion 3 course text, as well as, the Apple Motion 3 Level 1 Certification exam.
