I’ve just returned from a week training Final Cut Pro in Regina and now I’m preparing to teach the new Final Cut Studio Level 1 course, “Motion Graphics and Effects in Final Cut Studio”, at Emily Carr Institute for the first time next week.

This course offers a slightly different focus than other Apple Certified courses, in that it approaches the software from a thematic perspective centred around motion design tools. The emphasis throughout the course is placed on the integration of the FCS applications and encompasses Final Cut Pro, Motion and LiveType, as well as, workflow with DVD Studio Pro.

While I recognise that it’s late notice given that we start at 9 on Monday (15 October), there are places still available if you want to sign-up!

The complete course costs CDN$1075 + GST, which includes the Apple Pro Training Series: Motion Graphics and Effects in Final Cut Studio 2 by Mark Spencer and Jem Schofield, as well as, the FCS Level 1 certification exam.
