Further Optimization
There were a couple of questions about the Optimizing Your Final Cut Pro System book at the recent VFCPUG meeting. If you’re interested to hear more, there’s a sample chapter now available online, and the reviews are beginning to surface.
Marc-André Ferguson of the Montreal FCP User Group has just posted a very positive review. He calls it, “one of the best books of its kind” and recommends it to all “editors who not only need to know how the system works, but why it works that way.”
Loren Miller has also written about the book for the Boston Final Cut Pro User Group. While overall he finds the book to be an excellent resource, he does have some quibbles about the size of the volume, but also laments some of the “gotchas” he’s encountered over the years that don’t appear in the book.
I’ve also made mention of Ken Stone’s review in a previous post.
