Fresh from his appearance at the FCP SuperMeet, Richard Townhill has spoken to quash the persistent rumour that Apple is poised to put the Pro Apps up for sale. He tells TVBEurope, “I can categorically state, on the record, that is not the case.”

He also took the opportunity to announce that the number of licensed FCP users has passed 1 million. That’s a lot of folk cutting video (legitimately).
