Claude Gagnon

Kamataki (2005)
In a recent promotional article Apple celebrated the work of French Canadian filmmaker, Claude Gagnon. He cut his award winning HD feature, Kamataki (2005) with FCP. Even though he was working with the app for the first time, Gagnon appears to have nothing but good things to say about the process, which utilized FCP, Cinema Tools and a Power Mac G5:
“I really can’t use computers very well. I used to only do basic stuff, like write on the Mac and use the Internet. If a guy like me can edit a film with Final Cut Pro, I can tell you that the whole world can edit a movie with Final Cut Pro. There’s not one person on the planet who cannot do this.”
